Astra Vevey Hotel & Restaurant

The large, clean room had great amenities and I felt right at home. The extensive spa area was a lovely surprise!

Clean place with nice and really kind staff and exceptionally good view on the town. Relaxing and huge rooms with a laptop and an iron. Simply nothing too much trouble, fantastic stay.

The location is unbeatable, just across from the train station! The breakfast was a nice variety but service at times felt chaotic. The shower was a bit too narrow for comfort. 😅

The Wi-Fi signal in my room is getting weakas soon as you walk towards the window. The toilet is the best:-). I found the breakfast excellent. The bed is very comfortable. It's my 2nd time with this hotel and will certainly come back again.

It was difficult to work with the bad Wi-Fi connection.

A shower instead of the bathtub would be more practical.

The location's just perfect, so close to everything, I loved the small balcony in our room! Plus, the staff were super friendly, like your chommies helping you out! Brekkie was lekker, and they let us dine in on our last morning, so great to have that option!

Absolutely friendly staff and very rich and varied breakfast. Good beds, comfortable and large.

I would recommend bath mat in the bathtub.

You can't get closer to the train station than the Astra. So convenient for coming and going on daytrips. We were a bit early but the room was soon ready. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was a comfortable size and even had a kitchenette, which we did not need to use for our short stay. The waterfront promenade was a relatively short walk and the town is lovely, with easy acess to the ferries as well as the train. Vevey is relatively flat which made coming and going to transportation easy as well. Price is perhaps a bit high but seems to be comparable to places we considered less convenient so we accepted that due to the short duration of our stay. For a longer stay I would have to compromise on the convenience

The bed was comfy, but the party noise kept us up all night.
